A Ritual of Remembrance and Awakening
Drumming is one of the most ancient ceremonial practices known to humanity. Long before words, rhythm was our language. Long before structures, the heartbeat of the drum gathered communities, called in spirit, and guided us back to ourselves.
This ceremony is an invitation to enter that timeless rhythm.
The Call of the Drum
When the drum begins, something primal awakens. The steady beat bypasses the thinking mind and speaks directly to the body, the bones, the blood. It stirs memory held deep within us, memory older than this lifetime.
As we drum and move around the sacred fire, the earth beneath our bare feet becomes an anchor. The rhythm carries us inward and outward at once, dissolving separation and returning us to presence.
Many experience a profound sense of familiarity, as though the body remembers what the mind has forgotten.
