A journey where spirit leads and the heart remembers.
This Retreat is a carefully curated, softer introduction to plant medicine and sacred Andean wisdom.
It is a journey designed for those who feel the call to healing and transformation, yet wish to enter this work gently, safely, and with deep support.
Held in the Sacred Valley of Peru, this five night retreat offers a balanced experience of heart opening, emotional insight, purification, grounding, and integration. It is ideal for first time plant medicine participants, sensitive seekers, and those who want depth without overwhelm.
This retreat does not include Ayahuasca. Instead, it works with cacao, mushrooms, and Wachuma in a beautifully paced and embodied way.
We also enter the Temazcal, the ancestral sweat lodge, where we cleanse, release and emerge reborn, just as many generations have done before us.
Our time together will be interwoven with:
- Yoga and bodywork, including deep tissue massages
- Sound healing to harmonize the energy body
- Nature walks and sacred site visits
- An immersion into Peruvian arts and crafts
- A celebratory dinner with Peruvian music and dance to honour life and all that we have remembered
We are committed to creating a safe, intentional, and transformative container, guided by trained facilitators, wisdom keepers, and local guardians of the medicine.

Psilocybin
Psilocybin mushrooms, often called Sacred Mushrooms or Magic Mushrooms, have been used for thousands of years in indigenous ceremonies across Mesoamerica for healing, divination, and communion with the spirit world. In the Mazatec tradition of Oaxaca, Mexico, they are known as niños santos, “the holy children”,because they are believed to gently guide us toward truth, wisdom, and the heart’s calling. The main active compound, psilocybin, is converted in the body to psilocin, which interacts with serotonin receptors in the brain, leading to expanded consciousness, profound emotional release, and deeply meaningful visions.

A Journey That Changed Everything
Stepping into Peru, I carried the weight of healing and the hope for transformation. What unfolded was beyond anything I imagined… a soul deep shift held with grace, love, gratitude, empathy and strength.
Shradha’s presence through Lions Heart Journeys was truly sacred. She didn’t just facilitate she held space with such love, patience and quiet power that each of us felt safe to unfold, break through and bloom in our own rhythm...

This trip was truly about getting comfortable with the uncomfortable, knowing a little bit more about myself, developing an appreciation and understanding of the mysteries of nature and the world we live in. About questioning long-held beliefs of myself – the human, of the world, and of the expansiveness of living. Are there realms beyond the human experience? How can I, with my scientific temper, be open to surrendering myself to plant spirits and native “voodoo”, to altered states of consciousness, enquired my egoic self. Am I scared of this journey? Do I risk a loss of rational thinking? Why am I judging myself for undertaking this journey?...
