Peru 2025 past journey

Peru May 2025

Journey : 4th to 15th May 2025

The journey commenced in Cusco, gateway to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where ancient energy still whispers through the mountains and rivers. Participants were welcomed with a fire ceremony and cacao circle, igniting the heart and setting the sacred tone.

Over the next few days, the group moved through an intentional sequence of ceremonies and experiences designed to gently dissolve ego, awaken the heart, and deepen spiritual awareness:

  • Two powerful Wachumma (San Pedro) ceremonies, guided by skilled shamans and facilitators
  • Integration sessions for anchoring insights into embodied truth
  • A soul-nourishing hike to a waterfall in the Andes
  • Healing massage sessions to support physical and energetic release
  • A breathtaking day trip to Machu Picchu, where ancient wisdom meets divine silence

Each day unfolded like a sacred dance, between solitude and sharing, shadow and light, stillness and revelation. The Sacred Valley held these women gently as they released layers of identity and stepped into the raw beauty of who they truly are.

“From the very beginning, it was more than just a retreat, it was a pilgrimage of the soul… etched with smiles, tears, stillness, and breakthroughs.”

The Amazon Meeting the Grandmother

On Day 7, the journey shifted to the Amazonian city of Iquitos, where the group entered an entirely different realm, greenery, pulsing with life, and home to the sacred vine: Ayahuasca, often called the Grandmother of the jungle.

Here, deep in the rainforest, the participants were held in a sacred ceremonial space created by seasoned plant medicine guides and Shipibo healers. The Amazon offered:

  • Two Ayahuasca ceremonies that peeled away illusions and revealed deep personal truths
  • A plant medicine dieta, where intentional food and herbal intake prepared the body for spiritual clarity
  • Plant baths and river cleanses to wash away energetic residue
  • A soul-stirring forest walk and dolphin viewing experience, where rare pink dolphins appeared as living metaphors for grace and transformation
  • Daily integration practices, where silence, storytelling, and nature blended into spiritual medicine

These were days of courage, surrender, and awakening. The Grandmother medicine called forth buried emotions, healed childhood wounds, and revealed the interconnectedness of all life. Under her guidance, each participant re-emerged with a new relationship to self, spirit, and purpose.

Held by a Sacred Circle of Facilitators

The success of this transformational experience was made possible by a deeply experienced team of facilitators:

Dr. Shradha Goel

A unique bridge between medicine and mysticism, Dr. Shradha brings over two decades of clinical practice and three years of spiritual training in Peru. Her own healing journey through plant medicine fuels her passion to guide others. She holds space with precision, softness, and fierce compassion.

Rayan

An expert in San Pedro guidance and somatic therapies, Rayan brings trauma-informed care, inner child healing, and grief ritual work into the ceremonial field. His grounded, heart-led presence ensured every participant felt seen, safe, and empowered.

Dawid (Rao Nete)

A seasoned Ayahuasca guide and musician of the Shipibo tradition, Dawid carries a lineage of sacred songs and healing through sound. His Icaros (medicine songs) created a vibrational container for deep inner work and spiritual reconnection.

A Journey That Lives On

“To the ceremonies that brought us to our knees and lifted us to the stars… to the breath, the silence, the tears, and the laughter. This journey lives on in our hearts. And though words may never be enough, this is my offering: deep gratitude, deep reverence, and a love that continues to ripple outward.”

– Dr. Shradha Goel
